Criteria For OACAS Awards

Do you work with an Attendance Counselling Superstar?
Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized by our Provincial Association; someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty? Consider nominating them for an award sponsored through the Ontario Association of Counselling and Attendance Services! 
Certification of Appreciation
This award can be given to any member having provided exemplary service and who has demonstrated support of the Association and/or profession.
This Certificate is decided upon and awarded by the President. 
Award of Merit
This award can be given annually in recognition of individuals who have brought distinction to our profession through service to their community or our Association. Supporting documentation such as a nomination letter and letters of support must be submitted by the deadline for consideration. 
Orv Watson Award
This award is given annually in recognition of an individual who has made an out-standing contribution to their profession, to the Association and to the community.
Both the person nominating and the nominee must be current members of the OACAS.
Supporting documentation such as a formal letter of nomination and letters of support, including a 
letter detailing their community involvement, must be submitted by the dead-line for consideration.
